Favorite Exercise - Narrow V Thigh (deceptively simple!) Takes thigh work and makes it even more concentrated. Right away, I can feel how targeted the exercise is, and right after, how much control it takes to stay in the burn!

I love Bar Method because it keeps me centered. Your mind and body are constantly tuning into each other, having you stay present. It’s a welcome moment to focus on yourself, and by the end of class you’ve reset your day.

Favorite Exercise - One of my favorite Bar Method exercises is arabesque. It makes me feel like the dancer I never was, while intensely challenging my body. Arabesque is sure to bring on my shake!!

I love the mind/body connection that the Bar Method brings to each class. I also love that I get my booty kicked, head to toe, in one hour!

Favorite Exercise - Standing seat, arabesque, pretzel . . . seat work is definitely my favorite section of class. I‘m usually at my shakiest by this point, but that’s why it‘s the best - you know you’re working every fiber in your body.

No matter how long you’ve been taking, you can always go lower. The combination of mental challenge and physical results is addicting - and effective!

Favorite Exercise - I’m a huge fan of high curl with the ball behind the back. I love that it immediately engages my entire core and makes my abs shake.

I‘m obsessed with Bar Method’s intensity and discipline. I love that if you truly commit to working hard in class, results are inevitable.

Favorite Exercise - My absolute favorite Bar Method exercise is Arabesque - even-though this exercise targets the gluteus medius, it is undoubtedly an entire body workout. It keeps your heart rate up and burns a ton of calories. There are so many moments when you want to just let go, rest or move to relax for a split second, but when you challenge yourself to stay in it or increase the intensity (especially when using props) by taking additional options (balancing on releve, extending your arm forward) - it’s all the more gratifying!

Since day one, The Bar Method continues to allow me to challenge my mind and my body, no matter what day of the week or part of class. Personally, I feed on new challenges - this is one workout where I‘ve never hit a plateau, because there is constantly more to learn and advancements in the flow of the workouts. There are so many long-term health benefits that will improve your way of life. I’m excited to watch students accept the ongoing challenges and exceed their strengths class after class.

Favorite Exercise - Round Back! Why? Round Back trims my thighs, gives me a killer ab burn, stretches my hamstrings, and strengthens my posture. It’s my secret weapon!

I love The Bar Method because it changed my life for the BEST! I became stronger, leaner, more flexible, and developed the most amazing family of friends! As a result, I made The Bar Method my career, my business, my passion -- my religion!

Favorite Exercise - Pretzel. It is one of the most challenging exercises for me, but I can feel it working immediately in the corner of my seat and obliques. The choreography keeps me motivated to stay strong through the entire exercise.

I love the class setting in Bar Method. It’s a fun way to workout but still feels individual with every instructor. It is the only type of fitness that has given me long, lean muscles.

Favorite exercise: Fold-over. Fold-over gives me an intense burn in my seat, (especially on my standing side!) and it also strengthens all of the core muscles. Add in some large-range moves, and it’s really a powerhouse exercise!

Bar Method is the first workout I ever genuinely enjoyed from start to finish. I love that the better your form gets, the more challenging the class becomes! Every class makes me feel graceful, strong, and powerful!

There are so many favorites to pick from but one of my favorite parts of class is round back/flat back. This portion of class requires so much control in many pivotal parts of your body, and I love that challenge. I enjoy feeling my abdominals turn on during this exercise and have really noticed a difference in my waist and obliques. I also love that it is a secret set of thigh and have enjoyed watching my leg get straighter, leaner, and more flexible.

I used to be an avid runner and exclusively stuck to cardio. My old roommate introduced me to bar method a few years ago, and I have been addicted ever since! I love that The Bar Method focuses on all key muscle groups in 60 minutes. I love that each muscle group is worked until exhaustion and then stretched to increase flexibility and repair the muscle closer to the bone for a leaner look. I love chasing the burn. If I’m not shaking, then I sink a little lower for the extra push and fire in my muscles. The method speaks for itself, and I see the results everyday.

Favorite Exercise - Anything seat! Diagonal Seat Turned Out and Straight Leg Standing Seat give me a killer burn that I can feel for days.

Bar Method has given me greater muscle definition, flexibility, and core strength than I’ve ever had, even during 14 years of competitive swimming! As addicted as I am to taking class, I’m equally enamored with our amazing community of teachers and clients.

Favorite Exercise - Diagonal seat. A great balance between intense seat sculpting and fat burning.

I love the feeling in my body of being completely spent with nothing left after a very challenging class, and I love the results: a feminine yet strong body!

Favorite Exercise - It’s a tie between pushups on my toes and pretzel. I love the exhausting but powerful feeling of being able to do up to 50 pushups on my toes in an hour! In pretzel, feeling the catch in the corner of your seat and knowing with every movement you are changing your body is the best!

I love The Bar Method because it gives me the ability to grow stronger, leaner and more flexible with each set and each class I take!

Favorite Exercise - I love all high heeled thigh sets! If I lift my heels high and sink down low, I feel my quads fire up before we even start moving. It’s empowering to know that every single second of an exercise was spent in my challenge zone.

I love that the Bar Method exhausts and then stretches each muscle group. Combined with the focus on posture throughout class, I always leave feeling stronger, leaner and more graceful.

Favorite Exercise - I remember doing Pretzel for the first time...I couldn’t even lift my knee up off of the carpet, but now I love it! Pretzel is a full body workout with endless opportunities to challenge myself every time!

I love the physical and mental empowerment I gain after putting everything I’ve got into an hour of the Bar Method. I leave the studio with a restored sense of self, focus, and determination to better myself on every level.
