It wasn’t until I started doing The Bar Method, and doing it 4-5 times a week, that my body truly transformed itself.
When people say to me, how do you stay in such great shape, how do you stay so fit, skinny, is it all the running you do? I answer them that I owe it to the Bar Method. Yes, I run a lot and I run marathons, and for many years I have run and always done some sort of exercise whether it be spinning, weights, etc. But honestly, it wasn’t until I started doing the Bar Method, and doing it 4-5 times a week, that my body truly transformed itself.
The Bar Method also really helps me be a better runner and has greatly reduced my risk for injury and has helped me become so much more flexible. It develops core strength and works on my gluteus muscles, which are critical for running injury-free.
I don’t think I will ever stop coming to classes. I tell anyone that if I had to give up running or Bar, I would give up running. I think it is just so much more effective.
